Natural Path Landscaping: Creating A Natural Work of Art Right Outside Your Door

Natural Path Landscaping, LLC provides Landscape and Garden design and installation for residential properties. This is our dedicated focus; we don't mow lawns, trim bushes, rake leaves, or plow snow.

Tom Kraus is the owner and landscape designer. His unique background and talents – together with his passion for beauty and quality – establish Natural Path Landscaping, LLC as a one-of-a-kind landscaping resource for homeowners. His professional approach to your project is based on good communication with customers and attention to all the important details.

Tom is licensed both as a Massachusetts Home Improvement Contractor (license # 145211) and a Construction Supervisor (license #91216). As such, he is fully aware of building code requirements (and can obtain a building permit for the customer, if required). Tom is also certified by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) and the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) as both a Segmental Retaining Wall Installer and Advanced Segmental Retaining Wall Installer.  Tom has recently completed the Permeable Interlocking Concrete Paver Specialist Course and passed the written exam.

Tom is a mechanical engineer by training with degrees from Cornell and MIT. His keen interest in gardens and landscaping resulted from his extensive business travels throughout the world and his purchase of a stately Queen Anne Victorian home built in 1887. Tom and his wife have faithfully restored the house, barn and grounds. Among many landscape projects, he has built stone walls, installed a stunning patio, and constructed raised flower beds from stone. Out came overgrown shrubs and cedar trees. Rose gardens and other perennial, aromatic flowers arose in their place. Tom joined the New England Rose Society to thoroughly learn the art of growing roses. He learned about composting, organic fertilizers and soil pH for the care of his lawn. Over the years, his property has generated a deep sense of satisfaction and pride, along with constant compliments from random strangers as they walk past the home in Foxboro's Historic District near the center of town. Tom especially enjoys bringing out the best in older and historic homes.

Tom's background in engineering adds precision to everything that Natural Path Landscaping undertakes and often allows him to approach design and construction from a unique perspective. That same precision guarantees that the results match and often exceed the customer's expectations. During the winter months, he prepares for the coming season with design work plus he likes to explore exciting new directions, attend seminars and develop new projects such as his design for freestanding granite arches.

Justin Thomas is the foreman at Natural Path Landscaping, LLC, and has been with the company for over 12 years. A former high school state-wrestling champion, Justin has a degree in Business Management from Bridgewater State College. He is extremely competent in all phases of construction and has an expert eye for adding the small details that really make the final result pop. Justin is certified by the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) and is a National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) Segmental Retaining Wall Installer and Advanced Segmental Retaining Wall Installer.  Justin has recently completed the Permeable Interlocking Concrete Paver Specialist Course and passed the written exam.

Tom, Justin, and the entire team at Natural Path Landscaping, LLC insist on high standards for all their projects. As Tom says, “Our Natural Path Landscaping team does everything in our power to exceed your expectations and make you happy. There is something magical about making our customers happy, because it tends to come back to us, giving us great satisfaction as well." Tom was recently interviewed by Mass Realty as a service to their home buyers who may be interested in landscaping projects at their homes. Here is a link to that interview plus a general link to the Mass Realty website further down the page: http://www.massrealty.com/articles/interview-with-natural-path-landscaping.

Natural Path Landscaping is a non-smoking company. You can expect clear, easy and accurate communication with each and every employee at Natural Path Landscaping.

Tom Kraus was the most professional, attentive, knowledgeable and communicative contractor with whom we have ever worked, and over the years, we have hired many. He was always prompt when a meeting was scheduled; he wrote one of the most detailed and professional contracts we have had presented by a contractor, and the final work is beautiful. We couldn’t be more pleased.

We’ve had a lot of people through here in the last year for work but you guys are a big notch above. It makes a difference. No matter how good the finished product is, if the process was bad we’re probably not using them again. Your guys always take care of the little details and leave the place clean each day. They do great work but we appreciate that attention of detail just as much.

Natural Path Landscaping combines engineering and artistry to deliver truly outstanding results. And to top it off, our project came in on time and on budget. The only surprise was discovering a company that places such a profound emphasis on honesty and work ethic.

One of your strongest attributes is your flexibility to adjust to the lives of your customers. You had to adjust your plans for weather, my clients, my poor supply choices, etc. But you stayed the course; I got a quality product on time at the price you quoted.
